The Huskies jumped out to a quick lead when they recovered an onside kick to start the game. The Cougars came back to score two touchdowns and hold on to a lead that they never gave up. The Cougars had a narrow 28-25 lead in the fourth quarter and with a little more than five minutes remaining the Huskies had a chance to tie the game, but the field goal came up short.
 

Norco gave up several fumbles, coupled with untimely penalties that kept the game close.
The halftime show and homecoming festivities allowed the classes to display their pride and the announcement of the homecoming king and queen brought loud cheers.
 

Friday nights in Norco should include a trip to the high school stadium to enjoy the atmosphere and school pride that will carry the team into the thick of the Big VIII and into the playoffs.
